By creating an account or using Nutrition Lens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
Nutrition Lens provides AI-powered meal analysis, nutrition tracking, and wellness coaching tools. The app uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutrition information from food photos and barcode scans. These estimates are approximate and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. The service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Nutrition Lens offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion in accordance with applicable law. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees until you cancel.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile and to use the app in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not misuse the service, attempt to reverse engineer the AI models, or use the app to harm others. Nutrition Lens is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
5. Medical Disclaimer
Nutrition Lens is a wellness tool, not a medical device. The nutrition estimates, health scores, and AI coaching suggestions provided by the app are for informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or exercise routine, especially if you have a medical condition or are taking medication.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nutrition Lens and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so these limits may not apply to you.
